Coming UP

Well, I am going to Costa Rica in July. WOW! I can't wait. I just have to get a passport and earn $1,200. This will be sooooo much FUN. We will be doing a bake sale, a car wash, and some other stuff to earn the money. COFFEE HERE I COME!

My Songs and Poems

~War Trenches~
I hear the mortars being fired
The loud whiles before the explosion
I hear a scream and a yell as
One falls and a friends morns
I see another fall I hear another yell
The blood flows freely
I am in a trench somewhere in
Northern Germany
The mud is deep, it's hard to walk
Some fall others trip and catch themselves
I can feel the terror of the new recruits
As they mach passed, some mere boys
I remember when I felt like that
But that was months ago
I can hear the Germans yelling
I can understand little of what is said
My friend stands next to me, shaking
In his boots, though he has been here just as long
My comrades in arms huddled in the mud
Holding their rifles close, shivering
The cold rain pounds down ion us running
down our helmets and down our backs
Suddenly there was a cry from
Somewhere down the line
"Charrrrge!!!"
Me and my comrades surge to our feet
Climes the wooden ladders that we leaned ageist
We ran yelling a crossed the open area
dogging bullets, grenade and mortar fire
I dive for cover in a crater, made by
a mortar, my friend next to me
I hear another explosion, a yell and a body
rolls ageists me
Close, to close my mind whispers
Watch it or you'll die too
I ignore it and wait for my chance
To run to my next cover
I feel a hand clamp down on my shoulder
I turn to see my friend staring at me
Then his eye's widen and go blank
And the light in his eye's slowly fades
I turn away his hand slips from
my shoulder. He was dead
The erg to fight and stay alive flows over me
But for a different reason then most
I fight to save others and revenge the fallen
I have lost many but no more then any other
These trenches are more then the
Border's to No Man's Land
But the border's to life and death
I do hope to live and not die
But only because life is a treasure
And not to be taken lightly
Life is what you make of it and
How you live it, not use it
I rush forward and into the
enemy trench
I stab a German soldier with my bayonet
And hit anther with the butt of my rifle
I turn and stab him as well
Another comes up I thrust my bayonet
Some more of my comrades fallow
Fighting along with me
We finally take the line
With few prisoner
The fighting was over; for now
